I started making music in high school playing around with YouTube hip/hop beats and samples that I eventually worked into Ableton. I grew apart from my music after not feeling challenged or inspired or for some other reason I honestly do not know. Thankfully I have returned. I picked up my guitar and have not been able to put it down. Writing allows me to communicate a part of my soul that has never been exposed before. I believe art is the best tool to get as close to true communication as we can.
