My Story
I never allowed myself to consider a world where I pursued my passion: art. My mental health took a turn for the worse and the events following opened me up to the idea of pursuing my dream. My journey with art was never simple or even comforting. I always loved art, but I would confine myself to aim for "perfection." The goal of perfection made art stressful for a while. One day, I sat down and painted my first completely abstract painting and fell in love with the freedom. With my newly found love for abstract art, I was able to express things with my art that I never could before. Each color choice, brush stroke, and splatter is intentional. I am grateful to art for getting me through a hard time in my life, but I am even more grateful that I can now share my art with others who can appreciate it for what it is: true expression.
